In October of 2023 Sophia began her Residency at the Ateneu de Fabricació Digital de Gràcia to fabricate a costume with Palestinian Designer Laila Nabulsi for her upcoming performance at Choresoscope Film Festival.
Over the course of 2 weeks, Laila and Sophia dreamt up the costume. Laila fabricated the pants and Sophia made the shirt.
The costume was presented to the public at the Choreoscope Film Festival at Cinema Maldà on the 21st of October, 2023 during Sophia’s perfomance, Inseparables.
This specific performance was dedicated to the Palestinian People.

Sophia continued as a Resident at AFDG, prototyping a collection of training +
performance dancewear for the next 6 months making clothes from scratch & altering premade clothes.
